About this Event
We are pleased to announce the fourth Lewisham General Practice Excellence Awards (2026/27) will take place on Friday 22nd January 2027, 7pm till late and will once again be held in the iconic Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley.
These awards will recognise the outstanding work in Lewisham by staff working in general practice and will be an exciting opportunity to celebrate with colleagues, as well as showcase and award teams and individuals.
The evening will include a buffet and entertainment.
To ensure fairness, we have allocated a number of tickets to each PCN/organisation - please ensure you select your ticket under the PCN/Organisation you work for and then complete the booking form in full to include the name of your Practice/Organisation, PCN, your Role and any specific dietary requirements. We also kindly request that tickets are only booked if you intend to attend and please do cancel your booking if you are no longer able to make it so the ticket can be offered to others.
Please Note, booking for this event will close on 8th January 2027 at 7pm unless ticket allocation sells out sooner.

Unfortunately, due to limited funds, we are only able to invite staff working in general practice within Lewisham. As such, we are unable to extend invitations to partners, friends, or family members. We hope this does not deter you from booking your free ticket and joining us for an enjoyable evening with your colleagues and work friends. We look forward to celebrating together at the iconic Rivoli Ballroom!

We will also once again be running a People’s Choice Award, with nominations to be made directly by the public using the following link: People's Choice Award nomination or scanning the QR code on the poster provided to all Practices/PCNs

The deadline for all nominations is Sunday 13th December 2026.
The judging panel for the awards is as follows;

As part of this year's GP Excellence Awards, we are inviting staff to record a short 30-second video telling us "what do you love most about working in General Practice in Lewisham?"
