Life expectancy for the autistic population is approximately 16 years lower than the general population. In this update, we had hoped to explore the reasons behind this and what you can do in primary care to reduce health inequalities. The session would have briefly outlined the wide spectrum of presentations in ASC, when to suspect autism, referral pathways, current waiting lists and the support services available in the community. We hope to re-launch this session in 2023.
